White House Shares Controversial Video of Immigrants in Shackles and Handcuffs.

A video of undocumented immigrants being shackled and carried onto a deportation aeroplane leaving Seattle was made public by the White House.
The 41-second video, which was posted on X on Tuesday under the heading “ASMR: Illegal Alien Deportation Flight,” shows inmates walking with their wrists and ankles bound and close-ups of chains and handcuffs spread out on the tarmac.
In one image, an immigrant is shown passing an officer while wearing a chain around his ankles and his hands shackled in front of him. Additional views show a man getting ready to board, another person’s feet in shackles as they climb a staircase to the aircraft, and a close-up of a man’s handcuffs being fastened.
The detainees’ faces are hidden from viewThe tone of the film, as well as the White House’s commentary, reflects the Trump administration’s and its supporters’ desire for mass deportations.
As part of his immigration policies, President Donald Trump has increased deportations since taking office on January 20. Over 300 Indian nationals are among the thousands of unauthorised immigrants who have already been deported.
Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, has reiterated the administration’s deportation policy, saying he won’t stop until all “illegal criminal migrants” are “eradicated” from the nation.
In contrast to prior years, he asserted that illegal border crossings have decreased under Trump.
