VIDEO: Lawmakers and Staff Resist DSS Attempt to Disrupt Lagos Assembly Plenary.
The Department of State Services (DSS) has taken control of the Lagos State House of Assembly following the alleged unlawful removal of Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa as Speaker.
The DSS was present at the assembly premises, and for more than an hour, the Speaker was prevented from accessing her office due to the secret police’s orders.
In response, lawmakers and Assembly staff gathered in solidarity to support the Speaker.
