UFC Fighter Israel Adesanya Bets N16.45m on Anthony Joshua Beating Daniel Dubois
The UFC fighter Israel Adesanya has staked N16.45m ($10,000) on Anthony Joshua winning the fight against Daniel Dubois in Saturday’s IBF world heavyweight title match.
He showed this off in a post on his Instagram account, featuring a picture of him and Joshua, captioned, “OGUN!! This fight got beef… grab the @stake sauce.”
Dubois, who is the current IBF world heavyweight champion, was initially the interim IBF champion but was promoted to full champion in June 2024 after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt. On Saturday, he will face Joshua.
This bout will be Joshua’s thirteenth championship fight, and if he wins, he could fight the winner of the Usyk vs Fury 2 match next year.
Adesanya also posted an image of his bet on Joshua’s victory, with a $10,000 stake and an estimated $50,000 payout on the line. The bet will only pay out if Joshua defeats Dubois within the 10th to 12th round.
