Trump Denies Israeli Minister’s Claim of Palestinian Expulsion from Gaza

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday, March 12, dismissed claims that Palestinians would be forcibly removed from Gaza, contradicting statements made by Israel’s far-right Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich.
Smotrich recently announced plans to establish an “Emigration Authority” under Israel’s Defense Ministry to oversee the displacement of Palestinians from the war-torn enclave, claiming the initiative had U.S. support.
However, Trump refuted the claim while speaking to reporters at the White House alongside Irish leader Micheál Martin. “Nobody is expelling any Palestinians,” he stated firmly.
This comes after Trump reiterated in February his controversial proposal for U.S. control over Gaza, a plan widely rejected by European and Arab leaders. Despite strong opposition, his administration has dismissed alternative peace proposals put forward by Arab nations.
