Travis Kelce Mocks Brother Jason Kelce’s Wardrobe Mishap During ESPN Debut
Jason Kelce made his television debut on “Monday Night Football” with a small wardrobe malfunction. On September 9, the former Philadelphia Eagles center made his formal debut as an NFL commentator on ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown,” the pregame show for “Monday Night Football.”
During the introduction, host Scott Van Pelt joked on Kelce’s clothing, saying, “Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck.” Analyst Marcus Spears also commented on Kelce’s appearance, pointing out that the white button-up shirt fit his stomach but was “struggling” in the chest area.
Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, couldn’t resist making fun of the situation. He wrote on Twitter: “Surprised he bought a new one and didn’t just go shirtless.”
Jason Kelce has a history of shirtless moments, most notably during celebrations during the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills playoff game in January and WrestleMania 40 in April.
Travis was more encouraging of his brother’s debut, commenting, “What a natural!!” beside a screenshot of Jason on TV.
Travis has previously mocked Jason about his attire choices, such as when Jason attended the “Kelce” documentary premiere in a T-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. Jason had claimed that his wife, Kylie, was late delivering his jeans, prompting Travis to inquire, “Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?”
Travis and his squad launched the football season on September 5, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 27-20, with Taylor Swift in attendance to support her boyfriend.
