Tinubu Leaves Abuja for France Ahead of AU Summit in Ethiopia.

In preparation for his private visit to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Wednesday for Paris, France.

President Emmanuel Macron of France will meet with Tinubu while he is there.

This was revealed in a statement released on Wednesday under the heading “President Tinubu departs for France ahead of the AU summit in Addis Ababa” by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.

It said, “From February 12 to 16, 2025, President Tinubu will attend the 46th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council and the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the AU Heads of State in Addis Ababa with African leaders.

“The president will travel to Addis Ababa for the African Union summit early next week.”
