“There’s no Room for Compromise” Melania Trump Confirms Her Stan for Abortion Laws
The former first lady of the United State on Thursdays made it clear that “there’s no room for Compromise” when it comes to a woman’s body and her right to abortion. She made this known in a new video. The Guardian reported excerpts from her forthcoming book in which she says she supports abortion rights “free from any intervention or pressure from the government.”
In a video posted on X the former USA first lady said “Individual freedom is a fundamental principle that I safeguard. Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to this essential right that all women possess from birth, individual freedom. What does my body, my choice really mean?”
Her defense to this law puts her at odd with her husband position roughly one month to the election day. Former President Donald Trump regularly takes credit for overturning Roe v. Wade, which eliminated the constitutional right to an abortion and caused some states to enact strict abortion restrictions. Trump early said on October 2, 2024 that he wouldn’t support a federal abortion ban in fact would veto it. He made this known on a tweet on X
“EVERYONE KNOWS I WOULD NOT SUPPORT A FEDERAL ABORTION BAN, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AND WOULD, IN FACT, VETO IT, BECAUSE IT IS UP TO THE STATES TO DECIDE BASED ON THE WILL OF THEIR VOTERS (THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE!).”
He further continued “LIKE RONALD REAGAN BEFORE ME, I FULLY SUPPORT THE THREE EXCEPTIONS FOR RAPE, INCEST, AND THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER. I DO NOT SUPPORT THE DEMOCRATS RADICAL POSITION OF LATE TERM ABORTION LIKE, AS AN EXAMPLE, IN THE 7TH, 8TH, OR 9TH MONTH OR, IN CASE THERE IS ANY QUESTION, THE POSSIBILITY OF EXECUTION OF THE BABY AFTER BIRTH.”
