The building at 20 AMUSU Street, Baale, Orile Iganmu has collapsed

In Orile-Iganmu, a dilapidated multistory building that was scheduled for demolition has collapsed.

Since the building had been evacuated two weeks prior to the incident, no casualties were reported. It had been set aside for demolition, in reality.

To make sure there are no more occurrences, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Fire Service, the Building Control Agency (LASBCA), and the police are on the scene.
