Suspected Herdsmen K!ll Three, Injure Four in Plateau Community Attack.

Suspected herdsmen have k!lled three people and injured four others in Gwon-Rim village, Riyom Local Government Area, Plateau State.

The attack happened on the morning of Wednesday, August 13, 2025, when more than 50 heavily armed gunmen invaded the village and opened fire randomly.

In response, Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa, the Executive Chairman of Riyom Local Government Area, visited the scene to assess the situation.

He strongly condemned the violence, calling it unacceptable. He appealed to residents to stay calm and urged security agencies to track down and arrest the attackers.

He also assured the community of his administration’s strong commitment to protecting lives and property.

The Chairman later visited the hospital to console and support those who were injured during the attack.
