The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the 2025 Hajj fares, with variations based on geographic zones.

According to a statement released on Monday, intending pilgrims from the Southern states are to pay ₦8.78 million, while those from the Northern zone will pay ₦8.46 million. For pilgrims in the Borno and Adamawa zone, the fare is set at ₦8.33 million.

NAHCON explained that the fare was determined after extensive consultations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards. The statement emphasized that the decision aimed to ensure inclusivity and affordability, stating:

“This modest effort was achieved after extensive deliberations with all stakeholders to ensure inclusivity in the decision-making process.”

The commission also urged prospective pilgrims to comply with Saudi Arabian guidelines, register early, and make timely payments to avoid any inconveniences.
