Shettima arrived in Sweden on a two-day visit.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is in Sweden for a two-day working visit to strengthen bilateral ties and trade between the two countries.
Caleb Mutfwang, the governor of Plateau State, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, the minister of foreign affairs, and a few leaders of parastatals and government institutions accompany the vice president.
The revelation was made on Thursday morning by Stanley Nkwocha, the spokesperson for Shettima.
“The Vice President will have high-level discussions with important government officials during the visit, which is at the request of President Bola Tinubu,” the statement said.
He will also have a meeting scheduled with the Swedish Prime Minister and Crown Princess Victoria.
Targeted areas of strengthened collaboration between Nigeria and Sweden that will be pursued by the Vice President include ICT, digitalisation, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining.”
On Saturday, the vice president is anticipated to return to the country.
