“Seven Women and One Community Member from Benue Killed in Accident”
Eight residents of Kyado community in Mbazun, Mbaterem, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State were killed in a fatal accident that happened early on Thursday, October 17, a Tse-Uza, along the Katsina-Ala-Zaki-Biam Road.
According to an eyewitness, a 14-seater Toyota Hiace bus and a Toyota Corolla collided head-on, killing six women instantly and two more later.
The Toyota Corolla was transporting victims, all Okirika sellers, to Zaki-Biam when the accident happened.
A wake was held for the deceased on Tuesday.
