Conservative activist Vivek Ramaswamy and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk have been named by US President-elect Donald Trump to lead a new Department of Government Efficiency.

The department would help “dismantle Government Bureaucracy” and reduce unnecessary rules, Trump stated in a statement.

“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures and restructure Federal Agencies — Essential to the Save America Movement,” Trump wrote in a statement on Tuesday (capitalization his).

“It will become, potentially, ‘The Manhattan Project’ of our time,” Trump added. “Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of ‘DOGE’ for a very long time.

To drive this kind of drastic change, the Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of Government, and will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.

Trump claims that Elon Musk and Ramaswamy will complete their work by July 4, 2026, which is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence’s signing.

Elon Musk is appointed by US President-elect Donald Trump to head the Department of Government Efficiency.

“All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency,” Musk said in response to the appointment.

Please let us know if the public believes we are omitting something crucial or something unnecessary. Additionally, we’ll have a ranking for the most ridiculously foolish uses of your taxes.

This will be incredibly amusing as well as incredibly terrible.
“America will either go bankrupt or we will have an effective government. That’s the crux of the matter. “I wish I were mistaken, but it’s true,” reads another Tuesday post.
