Oyo State selects Glo digital solutions to improve urban mobility.
On Tuesday in Ibadan, Oyo State, Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, Enterprise Business Lead, Globacom, South West Region; Chairman, Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA), Major Adesagba Adekoya (Rtd.); Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Chief Ebenezer Ogunwuyi, and Mr. Inusa Bello of Globacom launched the first phase of a telecommunications and digitalisation partnership between Globacom and OYRTMA.
“As our cities grow and our economy expands, we need innovative solutions to ensure road safety, efficient traffic flow, and seamless urban mobility,” emphasised Chief Ebenezer Ogunwuyi, Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, who was present at the event.
The Oyo State Government has partnered with telecommunications giant Globacom to revolutionise traffic management in the state.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to develop innovative solutions for traffic management. Major Adesagba Adekoya (Rtd), Chairman of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA), praised Globacom’s exceptional reputation for using technology to solve complex difficulties.
“We’re confident that their contribution will be transformative and help us achieve a more efficient traffic management system,” he added.
