Nigeria Police Force Celebrates First National Police Day with Grand Ceremony in Abuja.

On April 7th, 2025, the Nigeria Police Force celebrated its first National Police Day at Eagle Square, Abuja.

The event featured a parade showcasing police professionalism and equipment, including Explosive Ordnance Disposal robots, K9 units, and tactical responses.

Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, highlighted the NPF’s commitment to professionalism, community engagement, and safety.

President Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, reaffirmed the government’s support for police welfare and modern equipment.

The event brought together key government officials, security leaders, and dignitaries, emphasizing the NPF’s efforts to strengthen its operations and community ties for a safer Nigeria.
