“Marrying a Pastor was the Biggest Mistake of my life”— Actress Bernice Asare

Kumawood actress has shared that her marriage to her pastor was not a fairytale as it was one of the biggest mistakes of her life.

She disclosed this in an interview with Zionfliex, she revealed that her husband’s deep commitment to his religious duties caused a lot of tension in their marriage. She continued that she felt emotionally neglected. She highlighted instances where she would prioritize praying for prostitutes and ministering to others over spending time with her. She added that these actions made her feel isolated and deprived of emotional support.

Reflecting on her early relationship with her husband, Bernice mentioned how her husband had provided her with comfort during a vulnerability stage of a previous heartbreak; his calmness and use of Bible verses drew her in, and their bond eventually led to marriage.
