Man Allegedly K!lls Son During a fight in Abeokuta

A man named Olamide has reportedly k!lled his one-year-old son during a domestic dispute with his wife in the Elega area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The incident occurred on Saturday night when Olamide accidentally struck his son with an iron rod intended for his wife, resulting in the child’s death.

Neighbors, alerted by the commotion, found the couple fighting, and the child was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

The wife later revealed that the child showed signs of life but was pronounced de@d again at the hospital.

Community members reported that Olamide had a history of substance abuse and v!olence towards his wife.

After the incident, he fled but was later reported to have turned himself in at a local police station.

The Ogun State Police have confirmed the case and are investigating the matter.
