Khloe Kardashian provides an open look at her recuperation following the removal of a tumor from her cheek
Khloe Kardashian recently disclosed that she had face injections to fill a cheek “indentation” left from surgery, demonstrating her continued willingness to be transparent about her health journey following her battle with skin cancer.
In 2022, Kardashian had surgery to remove a malignant growth from her face.
Kardashian underwent surgery to remove an imprint on her face; E! News reports that she recently revealed pictures of the indent on her Snapchat page in since-expired posts.
“I ended up with an indentation in the side of my face as a result of the surgery and the tumor my amazing doctor removed,” Kardashian wrote.
Kardashian displayed undated pictures of her face that showed the indent before the injections as well as pictures of her face following the procedure.
She also mentioned that she delayed to get the indentation filled for nine months following her 2022 surgery since she needed her doctor’s clearance.
The creator of Good American has been transparent about her health-care journey. She said before that, after seeing the “small bump” on her face hadn’t disappeared after a few months, she had made the decision to go have it checked by a physician.
Later, she was informed that the tumor was “incredibly rare for someone my age” and that she should “have an immediate operation” to remove it. This advice came from her dermatologists.
“I have only a scar to tell a story with, and I was lucky,” she remarked. “I will always be grateful because most people aren’t as fortunate as me.”
Her intention in sharing her tale, she wrote at the time, was to “remind everyone to get checked, and frequently.”
