Kebbi State Government Sacks 21 Local Government Education Secretaries.

The Kebbi State Government has relieved all 21 Local Government Education Secretaries of their duties with immediate effect.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government on Monday, Alhaji Yakubu Bala-Tafida, in Birnin Kebbi.

He directed the affected officials to hand over their responsibilities to the Directors of Administration in their respective local government areas.

While the government did not specify the reasons for their removal, it expressed appreciation for their contributions to the state’s education sector and wished them success in their future endeavours.

The move is seen as part of ongoing efforts to reform the education system in Kebbi State, though it remains unclear whether replacements have been appointed.
