Harris tries to support the Latino vote while running for office in Pennsylvania

In Pennsylvania, a battleground state that may go either way this election, Kamala Harris spent Sunday campaigning.

Harris urged supporters at a rally in Philadelphia that “we must not wake up the day after the election and have any regrets.” Pennsylvania is a swing state; Democrats have won it in recent elections, but Republicans won it in 2016.

The goal of Harris’s campaign was to increase the number of Latino voters who cast ballots, and on Sunday, Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny endorsed the Democrats.

Some in Harris’s team have claimed that even while she already leads in the demographic versus Donald Trump, whose campaign was criticized on Sunday for making derogatory remarks about Puerto Ricans during his event in Madison Square Garden, some in Harris’s camp have suggested that she needs to do more to drum up support amongst Latino voters.
