Diddy’s Alleged Bribe In Cassie’s Case Oppose His Bond Appeal Prosecutors.

Diddy

Federal prosecutor are standing on their argument to denie the music mogul Diddy, bail and keep him behind bars. Claiming he poses a threat to the witness and alleged victims if released.

According to a newly filled court documents, prosecutor highlighted Diddy’s alleged action following the March 2016 beating of an unnamed victim—believed to be his former partner, Cassie—at a Los Angeles hotel.

The prosecution cited a now infamous incident in InterContinental Hotel during an event. The documents describe a brutal scene, with Diddy accused of punching the victim, throwing her to the ground, kicking her, and attempting to drag her back to their hotel room. Although, the victim’s name remains redacted, the description closely matches details from previously reported incidents involving Cassie.

However, the prosecutor are more focused on what transpired afterwards. Hotel securities approached Diddy after witness the event on surveillance footage, but Diddy allegedly attempted to bribe the securities with “stacks of cash”. The securities rejected the cash, however Diddy directed his team to retrieve the footage, which prosecutors claim, to have “disappeared” from the hotel’s servers within a few days.

Given the allegations to obstruct justice, prosecutor are urging the court to deny Diddy’s request to be bailed, citing he might attempt to influence witness or destroy evidence. Diddy’s team has filled multiple appeal challenging the denial of bail, all of which has been unsuccessful.

As the case moves forward the government is insisting that Diddy remains in custody pending the trail citing his past behaviour on trying to evade justice.
