Demehin, a Nigerian Defender, Departs Reims After Two Seasons.
After just two seasons, Super Falcons defender Tosin Demehin has left French team Stade de Reims.
Demehin made 26 appearances for Reims, 11 of which came in the previous campaign, and scored one goal in that time.
After leading Nigeria to the quarterfinals of the U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica, Demehin’s influence on European football began.
After receiving interest from several European teams due to her outstanding performances, she and her Nigerian teammate Rofiat Imuran signed with Reims.
Since then, Demehin has established herself as a key member of the Super Falcons team, starting every game for Nigeria in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup as well as the Olympics in Paris this summer.
