Bobrisky denies handing over N15m to EFCC officers, refutes viral recording

Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky has denied an allegation of mischief levelled against him by Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan , a media influencer .

In a viral audio recording posted by VeryDarkMan , Bobrisky claimed that some unidentified Economic and Financial Crimes Commission operatives obtained N15 million from him to get rid of allegations of financial corruption offences against him .

Responding to the viral audio , EFCC Head of Media and Publicity , Dele Oyewale , said the commission ‘s Chairman , Ola Olukoyede , had ordered an immediate investigation into the matter.

However, Bobrisky denied bribing any EFCC officer to drop money laundering charges against him in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning, saying that he served his jail term.

The controversial media sensation also described the viral voice recording as misleading , stressing that the claim that he was never incarcerated was wrong and should be ignored .

I wrote: ” My attention has been drawn to a falsified voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid N15 million to EFCC and was never jailed … ” A big scam is that I did not pay any EFCC money . I completed my term and came out. Avoid any false information .
