Bayern Munich sign Luis Díaz from Liverpool in €75m deal.
Bayern Munich have signed Colombian winger Luis Díaz from Liverpool in a deal worth up to €75 million.
The 28-year-old has agreed to a contract until 2029, becoming Bayern’s third most expensive signing ever.
Díaz won the Premier League, FA Cup, and two League Cups with Liverpool, scoring 17 goals and providing 8 assists last season. He thanked the club and fans, saying he would “treasure forever” his time at Anfield.
Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen called Díaz “one of the best left-wingers in the Premier League,” praising his winning mentality.
His arrival helps fill the gap left by injuries to Jamal Musiala and departures of Thomas Müller and Leroy Sané.
Díaz trained with his new teammates on Wednesday and could debut in Saturday’s friendly against Lyon.
