Ademola Lookman Set to Join Inter Milan in €40m Transfer Deal.

Nigerian international and Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to Inter Milan from Atalanta in a deal worth €40 million..

Renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that Inter have taken firm steps to secure the winger’s services and have already reached an agreement with the player.

“Inter are serious about signing Lookman, they’ve agreed terms with him and are ready to offer €40m to Atalanta,” Di Marzio stated.

Lookman, who still has a contract with Atalanta running until 2027, is believed to be open to the transfer. Inter are counting on a prior promise from Atalanta that the player would be allowed to leave this summer.

Although Atalanta are holding out for a €50m fee, Inter are standing firm on their €40m offer and are unwilling to increase their bid.

“The Bergamo club wants at least €50m, but Inter won’t go higher than their current offer,” Di Marzio added. “Lookman has already agreed to the move, and Inter don’t want drawn-out talks. If negotiations stall, they’re prepared to turn their attention to other options like Nico Gonzalez.”

Lookman had an impressive 2024–25 season, netting 15 goals and playing a key role in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League victory.
