Actor Malaika Arora’s Father Dies After Jumping from Mumbai Building, Say Police

Anil Arora, the father of Bollywood actor Malaika Arora, committed suicide, according to the police. At approximately nine in the morning today, the 65-year-old is said to have leaped from his Bandra apartment building.

Senior police officers and Arora’s ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, have arrived at her home. A post-mortem examination of the body has been ordered, and an inquiry is presently in progress.

After her parents divorced when she was eleven years old, Malaika Arora, who was born in Thane, Maharashtra, relocated to Chembur with her mother and sister, Amrita Arora. Her father, Anil Arora, was a Punjabi who served in the Indian Merchant Navy, and her mother, Joyce Polycarp, is a Malayali Christian.
