A comprehensive approach for private candidates to view their 2024 WASSCE results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announced on Sunday that the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results for Private Candidates, Second Series, have been released. Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, revealed that a total of 65,023 candidates sat for the exam. Out of these, 43,923 candidates (67.55%) scored credit and above in at least five subjects, while 34,878 candidates (53.64%) achieved credit and above in five subjects, including core subjects like English Language and Mathematics.
Adesina described the overall performance as promising, noting, “The performance of candidates in this year’s examination is encouraging, with a significant percentage achieving credit and above in key subjects.”

- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number in the designated field.
- Input the four-digit Examination Year (e.g., 2024).
- Select ‘Private Candidate Results’ as the Type of Examination.
- Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number.
- Provide the Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the e-PIN.
- Click ‘Submit’ and wait for the results to display.
