Kano Police Arraigned Man For Domestic Violence
The Kano police have arraigned a man, identified as Umar Inusa, for allegedly beating his wife up and inflicting serious injury on her chest over a minor misunderstanding.
The suspect allegedly told his daughters to go to his other wife’s house to eat, when his wife objected to it he pounced on her.
He was charged for using excessive power on his wife, which he pleaded not guilty to. The suspected was granted bail on reasons that him and his wife are still married and with kids.
The case was adjourned to November 20, for witness testimony.
