Dr. Dre Hits Back At Formal Psychiatrist For Malicious Turning His Son Against Him
Rapper Dr. Dre accuses his former psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Soph,y, of maliciously Turning his son against him during his divorce from his estranged wife, Nicole Young. This comes after Dr. Sophy filed a lawsuit, claiming the music mogul threatened him after attempting to mediate Dre’s continuous divorce.
In a legal letter obtained by TMZ, Dre’s attorney, Howard King, accused Dr. Sophy of malpractice and breaching his duty of trust. The letter was originally sent in February 2023. The letter accused Dr. Sophy of maliciously turning Dre’s son against him during his divorce.
Dr. Sophy who also worked with Dre and Nicole to mediate their divorce took extra steps to give Nicole an upper hand in the case by driving a wedge between Dre and his son. This King asserted caused several damages.
The legal dispute arose after Dr. Sophy filed a $10 million lawsuit against Dre, alleging that he sent abusive and threatening messages in response to Sophy’s role in the divorce proceedings.
Despite Dr. Sophy’s assertion of being the victim, Dre’s legal team is steadfast in their allegations of professional misconduct. The conflict between the two is currently unfolding in court as both parties maintain their positions.
