A Nigerian Dad Petitions Senate Over His Daughter’s JAMB Result

A Nigeria dad has petitioned members of the Senate to intervene over his 16 year old daughter’s JAMB result being withheld after she allegedly turned advances from a male invigilator.

This was brought to other Senstor’s notice by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petition, Senator Neda Imaseun. He said that according to the Nigerian Dad, his daughter had gone to write he JAMB in her allocated JAMB centre when the invigilator started making passes at her.

“He asked for her number. She refused, and at the end of that exam, her result was then withheld. When the father inquired into why the result was withheld, they said it was because she was did examination malpractice, which they seriously deny. 

The father made a phone call to the invigilator, who for some reason got her phone number and started calling her, and the father warned him not to call his daughter again. From there, everything went haywire, and her result is in jeopardy, and they have refused to release that result.’

The Senator said the father of the 16 year old is pleading with the Senate to intervene.
