Gas prices are increased by 15% by NNPC to N1,030 per litre in Abuja and N998 per litre in Lagos
The price of gasoline at the pump has increased by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited.
The price of gasoline in Abuja jumped from N897 to N1,030 per litre, a 14.8% rise.
The current pump price in Lagos is ₦998 per liter.
With this most recent increase, the price of gasoline has increased twice in the previous month.
The pump price was raised by NNPC in September from N615 to N897 per litre.
Nigerians are outraged by the sudden rise, which has prompted NNPC to trend on X.
