A Mother and Her Two Daughters Killed and Dumped in Ditches in Kenya
A tragic incident occurred in a village in Nyamira county in Kenya, as a mother and two daughters were murdered and their bodies disposed of in ditches.
The deceased, who left their home to visit a relative, were found murdered and dumped in separate ditches in the Motagara and Gesima area of Nyamira County on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
According to NTV, a local administrator confirmed the women, identified as Jane, Edinah, and Lonah, were killed in a different location and their bodies disposed of.
“The women were not killed here; only the bodies were brought back. She had gone to visit her sister when the tragic events unfolded,” a local investigator stated.
The footage shared captured the anguish on the villager’s faces. A grieving villager lamented the growing insecurity around them and the lack of action regarding the rising number of deaths in the area. He urged the government to intervene, citing the local authorities’ inaction.
“Five people have died, not from illness but from murder. We plead with the government for help. People are being killed mercilessly, and although our local authorities are aware, they have never responded adequately,” he said.
The authorities have sworn to investigate the issues and bring the perpetrators to justice.
