Two Nigerian men were found guilty of rape in the UK
Two Nigerian men were convicted of rape in the UK.
Tosin Dada, 34, previously of Knox Road, Wellingborough, and Solomon Ibukun Adebiyi, 39, previously of Stanley Street, Northampton, were charged with three charges of rape on a 17-year-old on March 12, 2022, respectively.
The woman was sexually abused inside an address on Abington Square in Northampton’s town center. The couple did claim to have had consenting intercourse with the youngster.
Following a nine-day trial at Northampton Court, the jury found both men guilty of all three crimes. Men will stay in detention until their sentence on October 25, 2024.
