Tinubu is on a two-week holiday to the UK
Today, President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja for a two-week holiday in the United Kingdom.
The vacation is a component of the president’s yearly leave, according to a statement from Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy.
According to the statement, “he will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.”
“He’s going to come back to the country when his leave ends.”
Since his election in March 2023, Tinubu has made numerous official and unofficial excursions to the United Kingdom and France.
Tinubu departed Abuja for China on August 29, making a layover in Dubai before reaching Beijing on September 1.
The president returned to Abuja on September 16 following a “fruitful two-week trip” that included visits to China and the UK.
When the president met with King Charles III in London on his trip to the UK, they talked about climate change.
