The White House thinks Iran is getting ready to launch a ballistic missile strike against Israel.
Iran is allegedly getting ready to “imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel,” according to a top White House official.
The whole statement says, “The United States has indications that Iran is preparing to launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel shortly.”
“We are actively aiding in the defensive measures needed to protect Israel from this assault. Iran would face catastrophic repercussions if it launched a direct military strike against Israel, the statement warned.
A US official told CNN that the US is ready to go to any lengths to assist Israel in intercepting anything that Iran tries to send its way. Those efforts would be comparable to how the US extended its help in April, when Iran sent a wave of drones and missiles against Israel — the vast majority of which were successfully intercepted
