Eden Hazard Reflects on Grueling Training Under Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has opened up about the intense physical demands he experienced while playing under Antonio Conte.

Although Conte led Chelsea to a Premier League title and an FA Cup during his two-season stint, Hazard admitted the Italian’s strict and repetitive training methods were often draining.

Speaking on the YouTube channel Zack, the Belgian international recalled: “When Conte came to Chelsea, it was really hard.

The early training sessions were physically exhausting. We went to Los Angeles during pre-season  it was hot, and we trained twice a day.

After losing to Arsenal early in the season, everything changed. We switched to a five-man defense, and (N’Golo) Kanté became a dominant force in midfield.

The sessions were brutal, but they got us in top shape  that’s why we ended up winning the league.”

Hazard’s remarks shed light on the challenging environment under Conte, one that pushed players to their limits but ultimately led to success.
