Motorcyclist Caught with Three Human Skulls in Ogun, Second Suspect Arrested.

The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Kadir Owolabi, a motorcycle rider found in possession of three human skulls.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday in Abeokuta by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola, the discovery was made during a routine stop-and-search operation.

The operation, carried out by officers from the 71 PMF unit based in Awa Ijebu, took place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday along the Ijebu Ode-Ibadan Expressway near Refugees Camp Junction in Oru Ijebu.

During the search, officers stopped Owolabi and found three human skulls hidden in his luggage.

Following the discovery, further investigations led to the arrest of another suspect, 53-year-old Jamiu Yisa, near the Ijebu Ode Local Government Secretariat.

CSP Odutola stated that the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has ordered the State Crim!nal Investigation Department to take over the case for a thorough investigation.

She emphasized the command’s determination to combat cr!me and called on the public to support police efforts, assuring residents of confidentiality and protection of their identities.
