Idibia Family Seeks DSS Help to Locate Tuface Amid Confusion Over His Whereabouts

The Idibia family has called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to help locate Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or Tubaba, claiming he is missing.
According to the family, Tuface left home on February 10 in his lounge wear without his bodyguard. Initially, they assumed he had gone for a walk and would return shortly, but he has not been seen since.
Adding to their concerns, friends reportedly received messages from the singer requesting financial assistance—an unusual act, as the family insists Tuface is financially stable and has no reason to solicit funds. They also noted that he has not been in the studio or working on music, which is highly uncharacteristic of him.
The Idibia family has now appealed to the police to step in and assist in locating the singer.
However, despite their claims that he has been missing for four days, videos of Tuface have surfaced on social media. In one clip, he is seen proposing to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Irobosa Osawaru. Following the proposal, his mother, Rose Idibia, released a video urging Osawaru to “free” her son.
The family has officially filed a petition over Tuface’s alleged disappearance.
