Katsina Nurses Threaten Strike Over Rising Insecurity
Due to unresolved security and welfare issues, the Katsina State Council, the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, has threatened to remove its members from frontline local government areas.
By the end of the two-day warning strike, the group also threatened to go on an indefinite strike if the government did not respond to its demands.
The first day of the warning strike is Thursday, January 30, 2025.Batsari, Funtua, Malnufashi, Kankara, Kurfi, Danmusa, and Jibia are among the frontline LGs. Details will be provided shortly .
