AFCON 2025: Nigeria to Face Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania in Group C.

The draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has placed Nigeria’s Super Eagles in Group C, where they will face Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. 

The group stage draw is as follows:

• Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros
• Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe
• Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania
• Group D: Senegal, DR Congo, Benin, Botswana
• Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan
• Group F: Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique.

The tournament will feature 24 teams divided into six groups. The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16. 

The Super Eagles will be aiming to progress beyond the group stage and contend for the AFCON title. Their group-stage opponents present a mix of familiar challenges and new tests, setting the stage for an exciting tournament.
