Pep Guardiola’s wife speaks out following their shock split after 30 years of marriage.
Pep Guardiola’s wife has spoken out following their split after 30 years of marriage.
According to the UK Mirror, Cristina Serra was recently seen shopping alone in Barcelona, just a week after news of their shocking breakup emerged. The report noted that she appeared very happy when approached by a Spanish reporter in the city center.
When asked how she was doing, the mother of three responded, “Perfecta, gracias” which translates to “Perfect, thanks” in English. She added, “Everything’s fine” when asked again about her state of mind.
However, she chose not to comment when questioned about speculation suggesting that Pep’s decision to stay in Manchester and sign a two-year contract extension with his club was the cause of their breakup. She concluded the brief conversation with a polite “Thank you” before entering a clothing store she was heading towards.
Journalists Lorena Vazquez and Laura Fa, known for their reputable entertainment reporting duo called the Mamarazzis, broke the news of the couple’s split at the beginning of last week. Shortly after, they claimed in a podcast that fashion entrepreneur Cristina had decided “enough was enough” after discovering that Pep had reversed his earlier decision to leave Britain and would remain in his current position until 2027.
