Regarding the “edited” Harris interview, Trump’s attorney writes to CBS

Continuing to attack CBS, the BBC’s US media partner, Donald Trump has demanded that the network publish an unedited transcript of its interview with Kamala Harris on the 60 Minutes show.

Using a segment that was shown before the entire interview was televised but was not included in the final version as proof, he has frequently accused the show of manipulating the interview.

Platzik Edward Andrew, Trump’s attorney, accused CBS of “intentionally” misleading the public by “broadcasting a skilfully edited interview” in a letter that was externally uploaded on social media.

A CBS representative claimed in a statement that was made public on Monday that they saved time by using a more “succinct” clip of Harris’s response in the final cut. According to CBS, any indication of “deceitful” editing was “false”.
