“24-Year-Old Former Premier League Footballer Arrested for Alleged Rape of Woman in London Hotel”

On suspicion of raping a woman at a hotel in London, a former Premier League football player was taken into custody. 

On October 9, police arrested the 24-year-old at the upscale Corinthia Hotel in Westminster’s Whitehall Place.

The international football player, who is not allowed to be named for legal reasons, has been released on bond until a date in mid-December while police conduct additional investigations.

According to information obtained,the female complainant, who is thought to be in her 20s, reported the alleged attack early on Wednesday morning at the five-star hotel’s front desk.

The Sun was informed by sources that she had met him in a pub in central London and returned to the hotel with him.

The football player was arrested at the hotel and transferred to the Charing Cross police station after the lady says he attacked and sexually assaulted her.

Police questioned the man all day long and collected fingerprints, a mugshot, and a DNA sample.

While CCTV footage is being examined, forensics is also looking into the £750-per-night room.

He is known to deny rape. “She met the player in a pub and agreed to go back to his hotel, which he had booked into earlier,” a source told The Sun.”

Then he attacked and sexually assaulted her,” she says.

It was said that the woman was in great discomfort when she went to the hotel’s front desk.

After being called, police officers showed up and took him into custody at the hotel. 

To the astonishment of the workers and guests, he was then escorted outside.

According to the publication, the athlete was born overseas and represented his nation in addition to playing for a number of English clubs. 

In accordance  to the source, he is a well-known Premier League player. 

“A 24-year-old man was arrested at 09.53hrs on Wednesday, 9 October at an address on Whitehall Place, SW1A, following an allegation of rape”.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told MailOnline.He has been granted bail until a mid-December date.

Specially trained officers are assisting a woman.Enquiries are still being made and the inquiry is currently ongoing.
