Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president, called President Bola Tinubu "TPain" in a tweet on Thursday in response to his handling of the gasoline subsidy situation. According to Atiku, the Tinubu administration's "haphazard and disingenuous approach" to gasoline subsidy management is to blame for Nigeria's current economic woes. In his remarks, Atiku voiced worry over the rising rate of inflation and claimed that it is having a negative effect on Nigerians' quality of life. He bemoaned the fact that Tinubu seemed indifferent to the suffering of the people in spite of the mounting difficulties. "The current economic crisis in the country is a result of the haphazard and dishonest approach to fuel subsidy management taken by the current administration." As things stand, Nigerians' material well-being is being drowned by an increasing rate of inflation that shows no signs of abating.Atiku added, "It is even more concerning that T-pain is unaffected by the hardship in the nation. "Frustrated with the increased expense of living under his rule, Tinubu's nickname, "TPain," a play on the first letter of his name and the name of American rapper and producer T-Pain, originated. The word was first mentioned on social media in April 2024, according to Peoples Gazette. But on September 16, it became very popular after someone on X mentioned it in relation to the President's visit to Maiduguri to comfort flood victims. According to authorities, a father from Texas was given a life sentence without the possibility of release in 2020 for raping and killing his 8-month-old daughter. Following a 10-day trial for capital murder in the August 2020 death of his 8-month-old daughter Savayah Mason, Houston resident Luis Luna, 27, was found guilty, according to a news release issued by the Harris County Attorney's Office on Friday, October 4. According to the announcement, on August 24, 2020, Harris County sheriff's deputies were summoned to Luna's apartment on a report that the baby had stopped breathing. The baby was not responding as emergency care personnel tried to help her there. After that, the infant was taken to the hospital, where officials stated she was declared deceased. The baby died from suffocation, according to the district attorney's office, and there were ligature marks on her neck, indicating that she had been restrained. According to the release, authorities also mentioned that the infant had been sexually abused. According to the statement, Assistant District Attorney Edward A. Appelbaum, who prosecuted the case alongside Assistant District Attorney Sara Delgado, described the crime as "one of the most horrific acts of violence imaginable," adding that "it's the most detrimental type of evil in the world." Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg stated, "This baby couldn't walk or talk, and she should have been with someone who kept her safe, but instead he abused that trust."
