19-Year-Old Kills Friend in Lagos After Heated Argument
19-year-old Fatimo Agboke is suspected of fatally stabbing her friend Faruk Azeez on Monday night during a furious quarrel in Lagos’ Ijegun neighborhood. Around 9:20 PM, there was an altercation, and Azeez, 20, was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital immediately after his wounds became fatal.
As stated by SP After getting a concerning call from a neighbor, Azeez’s father called the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, and reported the incident to the Isheri Oshun Division. Agboke is accused of stabbing Azeez in the neck with a shattered bottle during their violent altercation, according to Hundeyin’s account.
When police investigators arrived on the site, they discovered Azeez dead from a serious neck wound. For an autopsy, his body has been brought to Mainland General Hospital in Yaba.
Agboke has been captured and is being held, according to SP Hundeyin. He gave his word that a thorough inquiry is being conducted to learn all the specifics of the situation.
